There are several ways to cheat. but it's questionable if you can call them cheating..

First way, which Plashal and I experienced in a game is modded controllers. They mode controllers to shoot single shot weapons like automatic ones. So in our case, the guy was using a modified controller to fire FAL gun at a very fast rate. It was like a full auto weapon and FAL has a very very high damage.

Second way people "cheat" is lag glitching.. due to the nature of our network connections, people will start downloading deliberately files and videos to saturate their connection while playing. The gameplay for them will be fluid.. they will see you just fine running quickly but the way you will see him is just jumping all over the map. You will have very hard time hitting that person with bullets because they are appearing and disappearing from one spot to another when running.

There are very very few instances of people hacking their Xbox consoles but I think those cheats were only able to work on private matches.. you can't have them in public matches.

In any case, it's not really that bad, it's a far stretch from PC cheating which is wallhacking, aimbotting and tons of other shit.

But console cheating can get annoying.

When you see these people on consoles cheating, using modded controllers you can report them as cheating but usually you will see them being new to Xbox Live (like very low gamerscore etc) because they were most likely banned once already for doing the same thing.. Microsoft is very fast in addressing these folks..

The great thing about it is that as soon as a lot of people report someone Microsoft knows what they are doing and they get banned. The bad thing about it is, Microsoft wants to make money so they'll sell them another Xbox Live account..

I would personally ban them by IP and just simply not allow them to play the game ever again..
