"When I was working for the ad agency Leo Burnett in Hong Kong my managing director there was always hanging out with local policemen. So i got to hear quite a number of crime stories.
The Hong Kong police had finally captured the youth leader of the Triads. They locked him in a holding cell in the 20-storey police headquarters in Kowloon and questioned him for days without be able to extract any kind of information out of him. After hours and hours of unsuccessful questioning they completely lost it, grabbed him by his feet and hung him out of an 18th floor window.
Still he would not talk.
The had set him free. He then turned around and sued the police department for applying torture during questioning. At the trial it was his word against that of five policemen, who all denied the charges. But he said he had proof. While they hung him out of the window he had signed his name on the wall. And sure enough when the court went to check, there was his signature on the wall, written upside down 18 storeys up in the air"
