Shopify is a great platform. It's easily customizable if you're familiar with html and css. I'm not a programmer by any means and was able to create a custom shopping cart with little trial and error. The help docs are great for when you get stuck, they also have user forums.
Another option, that's a little cheaper, is Big Cartel. It's not as customizable as Shopify, at least not easily. But it is easy to get your site's look and feel into their basic templates.
