Aye, I just drop all 'date modified since last time' files into respective folders and leave the process overwrite everything. I keep a working backup on a second local drive as well as a tertiary backup on an external HD, and then usually backups of small but critical files on USB and Server.
If the place gets gutted by fire, I'm not in a great position— but if I 'merely' suffer statistically-probable hardware failure, I should be alright.
I was being quite good in terms of backup regularity, but realise I've slipped these last couple of months. = time to be super careful!
