What a bunch of crap.
In the beginning was the word ? Is the best they can come up with ?Fuck that shit. Celebrate your own stupid religious heritage in a your own draughty unkept houses of worship, keep this bogus falsehood off my money. The fucking nerve of it, countless generations of my ancestors toiled their short days in fear and poverty under the yoke of the church in its various guises, it's at best bad taste and at worst a deliberate recidivist poke in the eye from the ruling classes moking us for at least pretending the Enlightenment had any effect.

I was forced to spend hundreds of confused hours in my state/church run school as a child droning endless 'hymns' of the Wesleyian type of nonsense - think endless permutations of His sacrificing for ME the lowly flock-member, servant of almighty, thrice said thee, thine pilgrim me, type shit, and I escape that and bound away into what I was lead to believe was a largely secular world - should I so choose, and I'm haunted by this pervasively weird servile blood and guilt cult.
Enough, already. Just write 2 pounds in an agreeable typeface and we'll call it quits. Everytime it's used most of it's tax anyway, so just fucking write 1 pound 20 on it, and be a bit more honest.
