I've been invited to Vietnamese family dinners and seen assorted parts in soups and meals i wasn't real comfortable with, upon asking i was informed that it is all added to the food to not waste and show respect to the animal itself as no part of it was disposed of before eating, sucking broth out out a chicken claw is an acquired act but quite tasty once you get over what you deem is a weird ingredient
