In a perfect world we would all be able to hire developers to build out custom portfolio experiences which are catered to our needs. The reality is most of us don't have capital and/or freetime that such a project would demand. Hence the pre-fab portfolio's.
I think all of the above-mentioned are viable solutions for time-pressed artists on a budget. I think most of them, in terms of initial template and presentation, are very comparable. You can tweek them all to some extent. Although the things I imagine would be most important for making a decision would be the following: 1)presentation 2)ease-of-use 3) cost
