I disagree, and I am shooting myself in the foot here as I'm a web designer/developer. If you're an artists and you just want your work up in a quick-and-slick fashion, these recent folio-builders are incredibly handy.
Looking through a lot of the 4ormat websites I am pretty impressed by what can be created. They do all follow a set template but for showcasing work that is not web design, the outcome is pretty good.
