Yeh the GH2 might be a huge waste if your not into video.
Yeh man the 20mm is very sharp!! I love it :)
the equavilent on a DSLR? field of vision wise Youd be looking for something around the 27mm. Becuase The 20mm on the gf1 has an effective 40mm Fov (2x crop factor of the GF1 and all m43).So on a dslr like the 550d has a 1.6 crop
factor so a 28mm lens would be effective 42mm.you may already know all of this crop factor crap and you might have been asking more about specific lenses.
Lens wise I'm sure which lenses specifically are good sharpness.
