Very good of you to notice dude.
The 14-45mm is superior in IQ and build!
How much sharper is quite subjective. I'd say it's worth paying a bit more for the 14-45mm. In all reviews it gets massive praise being very very good for a kit lens. The 14-42mm is still good but just a fraction softer when viewed at 100%
most also say the 14-45mm images seem to (I hate to sat this) 'pop' more.
