David Cameron looking to include alternative measures of progress other than GDP. Now moving to subjective measures of wellbeing along with GDP to form a more complete the picture of progress in the UK.

All very good in my mind, however, the zero sum game that is economic grow as meauresed by GDP is still their primary concern - to my mind not a good thing. But he is saying some interesting things that seem to be opening a debate about some of the issues surrounding our obsession with growth...

- unfourtuantly i do, and i am well aware of the the implication of no growth. Just worte my masters theses on it. The implications of continued growth are quite scary...liamh
