ASP.NET is more framework, PHP is more language, I'm sure you already know that....
I've never done ASP.NET except for a few surprise moments having to fix code that was broken on deadline while dev was not available....
I too find most ASP.NET books full of random shit I'd rather not pollute my brain RAM with, and I don't need to drink the conceptual Kool-Aid, just want to get little things done.... so I'll follow this tread....
