So much attention is paid to terrorism. It's a complete non-threat. The only reason it's given any attention is because it's a frightening way to die.

About 3,000 people died in 9/11.

30,000 die in traffic accidents every year in the USA. Yet we don't think twice about getting into our cars and speeding along.

725,000 die from heart disease every year in the USA. Yet we don't think twice about Super-Sizing™ our lunch.

All this commotion over a drop in the bucket, which incites division, hate, and fear between people. My brother-in-law's sister didn't even come to his wedding this year because she's afraid of terrorists on planes. She's a grown woman. She'll never get on a plane again. Stuck for life in her own town. She missed her only brother's wedding because of a 0.00003% chance of being in a plane crash. I would say the terrorists won.

    • People who crash planes into buildings are very rare, and also a solid excuse to stigmatize the mid-east.maquito
