So, the wife has asked what I'd like for xmas. I've been slowly accumulating all the 'soft' gear (clothing etc) necessary for boarding, but I'm now looking to make the bigger jump into either boots, binding or board. Up until now I've been renting all three, but I think in the long run it'll be better/cheaper to buy my own.

I'll only go once a year, so I can't spend too much. Which would be the best route to for first? boots? binding? or board?

I'd say I'm at a beginner to intermediate level in that I've been a fair few times before and I'm just looking to get more confidence out on the slopes - maybe try a jump or two.

    What do you reckon?

    • Get your boots first. You won't care about trashing a hire boardgoldieboy
    • good point - I was erring towards boots - just for the sake of having something comfortableNot_Just_Another
    • any suggestions on good beginner-to-intermed... boots?Not_Just_Another
    • I'm a skier :) But the same applies.
