The last 2 weeks I've been battling to get on a State Health Insurance plan to cover my costs as I have a pre-existing condition and nobody in their right mind would insure me (for the last 7 years since I found out about the condition of my heart)...
... I just got the call that i was approved!
My first week in the hospital ran up a bill over $80k... and that was just tests - no surgery (which is now supposed to happen tomorrow - but I'm still unsure because the insurance literally went through this morning)...
...I'd be in debt for years if not for help (and love) of some State employees who had nothing but compassion for my situation. Thank you, State employees! (I never thought I'd get this kind of help from Gov. workers... the folks really went out of their way for me!)
Next time I'm at the DMV / Post Office or what-have-you... ... I'm hugging and fondling every employee.
