no doubt Apple has an army of followers (like any good cult) but the issue is that media simply loves Apple and Apple knows how to approach them.. I've never seen more ass licking and reviews of Apple products that find excuses for every retarded thing they have..
Apple hides every single defect on their products from the consumers to the point of engaging their whole legal teams. They will never admit that there's something wrong wtih their product, thus the whole misinformed and "customer satisfaction" bullshit.
What's even fantastic is their customer support is drilled that way to make you feel as if they are doing you a favor even though their device broke down and they had to replace it for you.
If anything, Apple hardware quality is no better than any other smaller company in the world, actually in many cases it's worse.. but Apple and Steve Jobs are absolute masters in deception and show like presentation. They are the only ones who call their products "magical", "best on the planet" and shit like that and blackmail tech blogs and sites to write shit about them because if you say anything bad about Apple, they'll put you on a Steve Jobs' shit list and you'll never get another product from them ever to review.
I guess that speaks for the integrating of tech media in general. I mean, just look at PC world.. they have become Apple's bitch writing about everything Apple in a way where it almost feels like their editors are touching themselves while writing the articles.. There's always an excuse for every single flaw Apple product has to justify it's astronomical prices.
It's a joke really.
