Hey mate, I am afraid I don't have very good news for you... it is tough out there being local, so it can be tricky if you don't have a work permit. Said that you will be able to get away working freelance. If you don't have the right papers, you can invoice them through an Canadian based company or ask for help to invoice through a fellow Brit/EU QBNr.
