I have a coworker, who I think is the most desperate person I ever met in my life. Here's the im's he sends me:
[11:21] Bob: im 35, feeling old and desperate
[11:22] Me: oh
[11:24] Bob: gotta find some1, dont wanna die alone
[11:27] Bob: can i get a snicker mini?
[11:27] Me: sure, when?We don't have too many people here, so i'm stuck with him when I get bored.
Sometimes, he would eat alone at restaurants, and I would as:
"Don't you feel weird about eating alone at a restaurant? Why not order it to go?"
He replies:
"I'm getting use to the fact that i'm going to die alone"I felt sorry for him in the beginning since he got burnt pretty bad, but after 2 years of his negativity, it's taking a toll.
- 'he got burnt pretty bad'. you mean by a girl?********
- Yeah, divorced after 7 years with his first. She even asked him to marry him. The marriage lasted about a year I think.pinkfloyd

- Sounds like he's still hurting... But try and turn the conversations positive... Still talk to the guy though... People heal on their timeframe- not yoursPonyBoy
