I got a lot of quick and in depth help from a lot of people, especially unfittoprint about 5 years ago. There are better Actionscript forums out there, but here you have the numbers and someone will answer you within minutes most of the time. I think most people just waste time here. Most threads are off topic or just plain nonsense, but when they're on topic, they can be great and there have been times where I felt like I've saved my job here.
Also, NT was no better for designers than QBN. It was the same thing with a different layout and no comment fields.
