  Yeah, and like I was trying to say earlier, back in the 50s we had a pretty good idea of what an alien spacecraft looked like:

  

  The idea that this dorky looking object could travel across galaxies seemed perfectly believable back then. Now of course it seems fucking ridiculous, so we now imagine UFOs to look more like this:

  

  It's like the aliens modernized at exactly the same rate we did. Hmmm....

  Even in The X-Files, the "I Want To Believe" poster hanging in Mulder's office looked nothing like the actual spaceship that he was later abducted on.
