    i think there are some things from the past that won't translate well to today's teenage/youngadult audiences of today. expectations are too high (avatar!) and the wow factor is not the same anymore.

    take krull for instance. how in the hell is that going to translate? in the original, the main character was the 'glave'. it was awesome! and kids back then were wowed by it and ran around glavin' frisbees at each other after seeing it... now kids would see this flick on a movie channel and lol at how lame it is.

    and mork & mindy? they'd have to cast dane cook and sarah silverman, make it hbo-only, and they both be millionaire vampires who rob banks with explosives and live on the beach in malibu.
