I'm not 100% convinced its not just a stunt. They floated the same rumor last year, coincidentally right before the holidays. Turned out to be bogus.
On the other hand, if everyone's using CD players and/or laptop, it does make a certain kind of sense. I guess this would also mean the end of Serato and Final Scratch?
- doesn't mean anything for scratch or serato, their sales just arn't sustaining technic sales********

- They're probably using their old ones anyway. If someone buys scratch they have many options other than technics********
