  i was on my way to work this morning and there was a traffic jam, eventually the reason became clear, it was a dead semi truck hauling a shipment of chickens to one of the 'processing' plants downtown. i pulled up beside the tarped trailer and a chicken was staring at me through the aluminum containment unit where the trap flap had lifted slightly. we locked stares for a moment, then i peeled out.
