it's 21 century. If u can shoot digital with a proper white balance so you can do all the cool coloration in the post. BTW, never depend on anyone saying "we will fix it in the post" get as close to what you want to achieve (acting, special FXs, not color).
Get cinematographer/DP as you won't be able to see what's happeining on the set and frame the shot at the same time.
