    Come on, OS X already has a lot of things I don't use (Spaces for example), but they don't interfere with my work. Launchpad is like that, you don't like, don't use it. I don't think it will replace the finder, so you'll still have the rest like you want it.
    The most important thing is performance and reliability. If it performs better than SL, I'll be happy.

    As for the AppStore, I think it's nice. There's already an attempt to that with a 3rd party app (Bodega) but I find it clunky. You can still find apps outside the store, and you'll still be able to crack those (like you do on the iOS).

    I found it a natural step in the OS/iOS evolution, nothing really surprising. We'll see when more is revealed.
