in my late teens my friends had this low rent 2 or 3 bedroom apartment that we all use to party at. It was the summer after we all graduated from high school and some of us had part time jobs, some of us were still mooching off our parents. Who knew who was even on the lease kids would just hang out and sleep on the floor. It was a place we could bring girls and drink under age, buy or sell weed and just hang out. We were a ratty bunch of skate punks but never really bothered the neighbors too much.
One day we were all "hanging out" pretty late and a loud knock was at the front door. Someone looked through the peep hole and yelled "Oh shit! It's the neighbor!" We turned down the music, hid our beers and bong and opened the door.
He was standing there with a moving box and handed it to us and said "I don't use these anymore and thought you guys could".
We opened it up to find dozens of smoking apparatuses. He had a real "gas mask puffer" bong, dug outs, one hit bullets, an apogee bong, proto pipes, double chamber wood bowels, boxes of papers, etc etc etc.
We looked in amazement and asked if he wanted to partake and he just said "No. I don't smoke anymore. Just keep it down for now on late nights".
We spent the rest of the night quietly trying out every single bong & pipe the guy gave us.True Story Bro.
