In the uk I used Bob Books. More expensive than blurb but the paper quality is way better. They use 300 gsm Fuji Album Lustre paper and their photobooks are bound with no spine so you can open it completely flat with no gutter. Great for double page images. The customer service is a little iffy and you can't upload a pdf (yet) but the quality more than makes up for it.
