After posting this, a few months later I bought one. I wasn't sure it would be very useful .. but I do actually use it a hell of a lot.
Cooking -> Epicurious app for recipes
Music Mod -> replaced my mp3 player
My Tracks -> track my running
GTasks -> organise my tasks
Calender -> organise my life
Gmail -> Email
Dolphin Browser -> web
UKRails -> train times
Navigation -> GPS / cycle routes
AndChat -> irc
SMS Schedule -> send the SMSs I need to send at the right time
Linode Android -> control my VPS instances
ConnectBot -> connect to servers using SSH
BBC News / NYT / HackerNews -> news
Ebay -> ebay stuff
WIFI Tether -> use my mobile's internet with my laptop over wifiIt's amazingly useful. Bit worried about becoming too dependent - but then it's the same for computers. If computers weren't around I'd be in trouble - I'd need a new job for a start.
