You know what's fucking funny? Christine O'Donnell thinking that we fought the Soviets* in Afghanistan in the '90s**. And that we "didn't get the job done"***.
Even funnier, this person is a serious candidate for the US Senate.
* the only way we "fought the Soviets" was by a proxy war by funding Osama Bin Laden. Funny how that doesn't fit into her little understanding of reality. Unless we count Jimmy Carter boycotting the Olympics, but that would give Carter credit for something, and you can't do that if you're a raging teabagger.
**The Soviets pulled out in 1989, so I have no idea who she thinks "we" were "fighting" there in the 90's
*** I'm not sure how we "didn't get the job done" if, even by the proxy war argument through funding Islamic radicals the idea was to get the Soviets out of Afghanistan, and they consequently left, how the "job" didn't get "done".
