This is a twisted publicity stunt, the guy owes a shit load of money to his record label and after floating statues of himself down capital cities rivers etc. he's got nothing left apart from this. Notice how they've already definined the charges, ruling out any really nasty stuff from the start (we're talking 'paedophile-lite' here) so the issue goes back to the same old shit about defining affection with a child etc. Also a bit strange the arresting sheriff's comment about how he wasn't on a mission to wreck jackson's new record release as he didn't like 'that kind of music' (you can almost see him reading the script) So we've got the race card thrown in aswell. His fans buy 50 copies each of his new record to show their 'support' etc, and he can shovel out more victim songs. The whole thing stinks like a 20 foot shite....
