would you really? i mean, you've already launched it, so you can't do major revisions without undoing a lot of work, right?

    1. your url makes me read "hammer toenail" before i realize what it really says
    2. clean aesthetic, but too much nav - the only bit of text content i can see above the fold is the title text in your central image -- i'd have liked the content to be more prominent and the nav to be smaller and take up less space. the text for your categories on your main page is too big, and your icons are too big - the content is miniscule, overshadowed, by it.
    3. i wish the smaller review posters had the teaser text already showing on the page, instead of me having to mouseover every single one to see what it's gonna say. that way i can just scroll down your page and see more content instead of having to scroll, then move my mouse around.
    4. your central image on your homepage is nice and big and has custom text layout on it, but when i click through to the article, all it is is one small image and a lot of html text - i would have hoped for a nicer/bigger headline image or image with text, like a slick magazine would have (your website is very very nice in terms of design, so my expectations are high at this point).

so overall, visually, it's very very strong - aesthetically it's aces. but functionally i would say it's a bit of form over function at this point. it's a movie review site, so it should present a lot of content, but your main page is 60% navigation text and icons, 20% white space, and 20% content. so it's like there's nothing to read, at all, on your main page. which is a shame.

sorry if i come across as a total curmudgeon. you are clearly a pro so i am not holding back on anything - i figure you can take the criticism ok (:

    • thx bigtrick...we'll be constantly tweaking, so yes....i would like to hear. cheers.linearch
