I went to an APA meeting where 3 ad agency art buyers talked about websites... they said....
Hate to say it, but it's about the photos, not the website..... the website should be only there to make it easy for people to see the photos and to look professional.... anything that takes more than a few seconds or 1 or 2 clicks to see work is a detriment....
- they also said your photos must have a coherent aesthetic, your vision should be clear in the pix...vaxorcist
- i.e. edit very carefully... write down your vision statement, pick photos and shoot more...vaxorcist
- whatever you do, do NOT just put up your "best work" if things are too different, buyers need to know your look/feel....vaxorcist
