Well, that's a pretty clear brief. What about legato mute trumpet, a la late Miles Davis?
- the mute will create the same kind of cutting tones that are already therelocustsloth
- legato strings wouldn't have the edge that a mute trumpet would, which in turn would create contrastlocustsloth
