What makes him unique and distinctive:
Unique= The ability to be a respected radio presenter for over 20years and still able command the respect of my peers and the younger mc's, producers, artists that are just breaking through.
There are not many presenters that can switch from being radio presenters to club dj's with seamless ease but he manages this.
One of the biggest advantages is that his show is totaly un-playlisted giving him the freedom to promote fresh new artists that may have not even have a record deal.
There are no other drive time shows on legal radio that trust the presenter to provide their audience with the right balance of upfront and current hits. This stands with him alone in this field.
Able to interview artist from all genres -hip hop to rnb. Funky house to dubstep. Because of the huge respect steve gets artists view being interviewed on his drive time show as a major part of getting their music and profiles out to their audience.
Distinctive = His voice. Smooth, friendly, believable and trusted. Always sounds like he enjoys every minute of his show. Always wearing a smile. Able to mix all genres of music.
The voice of many radio and tv campaigns. Hmv,Reebox and a host of others too many to mention.
Remixes and production are also another feather in this multi talented dj's cap.
