I just got an ipad and ipod touch 4th gen.. and I have to say that ipod is really amazingly well produced.

Other companies will really have to work super hard to match the smoothness and overall feel of ipad. That being said, right away you notice a few things.

    1. No multitasking.. this REALLY gets annoying
    2. No Camera (this is such a huge miss - this device just needs a front facing camera - for Skype and alike)
    3. I do feel sometimes I miss Flash on it, but that's not so often than I thought and it's probably because a lot of sites have fallback if you visit their site on iPad.

Overall it's really awesome device after spending a day with it.

I actually downloaded right away Autodesk SketchBook Pro, Adobe Ideas and of course Wired, Flipboard and a few very nice apps.

The next thing I did was buy Pogo Stylus.. iPad just screams sketching and drawing and ideas drafting etc..

Overall iPad will definitely be my daily device where I scribble ideas into, browse web and watch videos and read magazines on while I'm sitting at the coffee shop or even in the living room.

It's much more convenient than a netbook or laptop.

Obviously this device is not meant for production, keynote and pages and all that is painfully limiting. I just don't see myself doing anything with those because it's just weird.

This is sketching/drawing, and photo/web/magazine/book/video consuming device. With an occasional game.

    • I meant iPad in the first sentence, though iPod Touch is really damn sexy how thin it is.Boz
