    you can just use SFTP and Transmit for that, it's the same thing.

    • sftp isn't the same .. with this you can edit a file live .. no upload / download.

    • sshfs uses the same protocol. transmit has mount remote location, it works exactly the same and he's already got transmit.acescence

    • Ah okay - well, if you use FUSE and SSHFS, once the drivers are loaded no other app is needed. Might be worth trying.

    • Transmit app doesn't need to be running and it also doesn't require Fuse.welded
    • Maybe so, but SSHFS is free and totally transparent / embedded into your OS
