this past month almost every i get a ton of job offers for mid tier to high end luxury jobs, all senior level design director positions.. but for all of them i am turning them down.. am i making mistakes? the job i have now i am the director of product development and lead senior designer for all cut and sew products. i love the job and the product.
should i re-consider and shop around or just stay put and enjoy? i really never seen the industry so hungry for employees as it is now.
part of the job i have now, will be going on a lot of sales meetings too, as to sell the collections to the buyers, and i will also be making a nice commission on top of my salary. i am not sure i will get that anywhere else..
today i had 2 calls for high end luxury gigs, 1 was for a hardware specialist for handbags, a step backwards in job level, the other was for senior product designer, both will not have the responsibility i have now or the accountability, but it is high end products.
i guess i should be thankful that these companies are thinking of me.. but i just dont know what to do..
meh.. i need a drink or something..
