    Well, there is the entire host of Exposé features that you should probably familiarize yourself with. Additionally, I would seriously consider Spaces for your issue. It allows you to have a workspace for each application, split up nicely with easy switching.

    I also have to ask...since you're focusing on the Mac. Is there an app on the PC that splits up the windows between Illustrator on the left and Photoshop on the right? You ask with such confidence that I am assuming this is a normal practice for you with Windows.
