  @ Mono,

  I actually heard that there were some complaints about a yellow cast with the LED as opposed to the LCD, but I have no idea how accurate that complaint is. I have a u2711 myself and am extremely happy with it's performance. However, I do completely agree that the Apple monitor is nicely priced for the quality/features, and I have no doubt that it performs beautifully.

  I just wanted to throw it out there that a nice monitor with similar components can be had for <$800 (new on ebay) as well, as It's always been hard for me to find any price breaks on Apple items. The U2711 also has a USB uplink and a billion inputs, although no camera or speakers. Life is so hard sometimes.

  • there is complaints on the u2711 also. there isn't anything as a perfect monitor.akrok
  • i used the 24" ones before. was totally okay. in that price range, i think both are good contesters.akrok
