Just from a basic design standpoint it looks sloppy and poorly executed, I mean look at the humongous type on the left hand nav and the microscopic type everywhere else. The simplicity aspect makes it different but in reality it's probably not the best design for a page like this, it means hidden options for a lot of customers.
When you click through to another page the layout isn't consistent at all. In fact it seems like this page was just kind of slapped on top of the rest of the site.
