I was selling mink and fur coats when the partner of a great agency came in for an "apology" purchase. After helping him, slipped my portfolio in the box when it was delivered. That didn't work out, so when I 'bumped' into him again, I managed to get invited for a drink. He got pretty drunk. I threw him in a cab and showed up for work the next day saying that he gave me a job. He couldn't remember what he said and went with it. Bingo.
