The anti-HTML5 rantings get more and more funny, especially since they always seem to come from people who either work with Adobe directly, and/or do Flash dev for a living (nothing personal, I like you guys but you have to admit you ain't the most objective in the fcking world).

The idea that HTML5 was expected to roll off the production line with 100% browser support and preexisting libraries of code to achieve all these things Flash does - or it SUCKS - is kinda silly. I think it's pretty clear it's coming along nicely.

    • i hear you... i'm learning HTML5... would be stupid if I didn't... ... my argument is why reinvent the wheel?...PonyBoy
    • Flash already does everything quite well that I've seen as far as these HTML5 experiments go - however... flash does run...PonyBoy
    • ... like a backed up dookie on any given Mac... ... I wish Jobs would just embrace adobe a little more and get the flash...PonyBoy
    • ... player fixed once and for all.PonyBoy
    • Because it's not open source...once it really catches up to Flash we can have an open source alternative instead of leaving it to Adobeukit
    • of leaving it to Adobeukit
    • Anyway, you are learning it, so it can't be that pointless, can it?:)ukit
    • of course not... i never said it was pointless... ... i was just a little taken back that there are so many oohs and ahs over...PonyBoy
    • ... something that came off my coleco vision... :)PonyBoy

    • no - not expecting that... but some rinky-dink game from the late 70's doesn't exactly help my hotdogPonyBoy
