Just wack some in a protein shake and there you have it. It won't harm you as long as you drink lots of water.
And as far as 'why bother training' is concerned... people don't want to spend their life as unfit fat lazy twats. Since when has giving a shit what you actually looked like been so frowned upon? You all seem to think you have extraordinary fashion sense (judging by some of the clothes threads I've seen here, trust me – you don't) but even still, if you've got an out of shape body underneath your clothes you are still going to look like an unfit fat lazy twat.
Creatine won't turn you into a Arnie-a-like but it'll help you train harder, give you focus etc... Diet is the THE most important thing though. In the past I've found that a protein shake and creatine to be enough as far as supplements are concerned, anything else is pretty much unnecessary unless you are pro. It might even help you eat healthier because if you know you are spending your hard earned cash on this stuff, you might not want that cheeky chocolate bar or bag of crisps part way through the day... works for me.
