@mikotondria - you asking why bother with all these wasted hours to buff up?
As Steve jobs very accurately pointed out, the most important thing regardless of your goals and Intentions with your exercise is that improves your quality of life. Stress relieving, confidence boosting it just makes you happy. The first thing a doctor will tell you if you have insomnia or depression is to exercise daily. Becuase it's so good for your mental well being.
I agree I think those huge guys pictured above are kinda hideous, but a part of me is also impressed at their achievement. I would ever want to be like that though.
