In branding in general on a wide arrange of Brands of various medias , I see logos for Twitter and FB and no mention of the own .com , could it be a budget item as Fan Pages can be set up by 11 year olds?
What boggles me is that people would much rather have say 50k friends or followers and what not , but they won't back it up with anything to get results off that much traffic , it all goes to FB and ad networks and they see $0.00 , FB ad system charges you to promote a facebook page , kinda brilliant no in a money making scheme kind of way , but you can redirect to a website with an a ad affiliate (google ad sense) and cash in on the traffic , it is a tough sell out here
