the FB site is a teaser/updater that leads to the "real" website, where an actual sale/scheduled appointment/contact can be made, and the prospect can re-inforce their already positive opinion by seeing examples of great work, client lists, etc..
i.e. facebook gets contact leading to a visit to the website which builds more confidence
