Wow, well you have really good luck then and i have terrible computer luck. My old power computing clone used to crash every once in awhile to, nothing that nortons couldn't solve though. Nortons doesn't seem to be much help for OS X however.
Thanks pascii, but unfortunately I don't know enough about all that command line stuff. I took it into the Apple store for them to deal with and replace the HD, instead of just trying to fix it.
