The only thing I never liked about punk is the terrible "singers." If there were ever an iota of talent in any of the singers, I might have taken the genre a little more seriously. I think Blitz and maybe Mission of Burma is about as close to punk as I ever got. The Ramones, sure, and maybe a little Op Ivy every now and then, but that's about it....
