    also, as previously mentioned the GH-1 is great value, but i didnt mention it costs around £900, and the lens alone costs £600.

    its a great lens, design primarily for video.

    The other bonus of micro four thirds cameras is you can attach any micro four third lens, even ones from the 70s. And you can get some 70s' and 80's lenses that are really cheap and pretty good optics.

    you may want to get a cheap £50 manual focus lens that has a wider aperture for some shallow DOF shots. i got an olympus one for £20, 50mm f1.8.

    Remember the lumix panasonic lenses with OIs - are stabilized in lens, which means they can do stabilized video.
