    I have an iPod touch and my home connection is on a DSL dialup with a dynamic IP, changing every so often.
    When I click the "my location" button on google maps, the pin drops right in front of my house.

    How is it doing this? Is the IP data from internet provider so accurate? I kind of doubt it.
